Ron Burgundy Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 I’ve heard reports of guys catching good ones at night trolling rogues . Fish24/7 and terryj1024 2 Gone but not forgotten Martin Ford
mmirg Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Fished from the pothole to Barker, trolling a Flickr shad and an Arig last Friday, got 1 bite. Talked to 2 other boats that did just as well. I didn't mark very many fish in that stretch. Last year at this time we were catching sow white bass there. I think we need some steady 50°+ temps to get em stacked up. Fish24/7 1
Members Lonnie Morgan Posted April 4, 2018 Author Members Posted April 4, 2018 I have an idea I picked up some where. Use an alanima rig but put a floating crank in the middle. I checked and it is legal. Any one try this? How well did it work? I am going to try moving my worm hooks back a few inches from the spinner blade. Any one try that?
JohnP Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Picked this 23 inches up Monday afternoon on a 3 inch shad pattern swimbait. 2 hits in 2.5 hrs for the one but made for a good dinner. Rob P, BilletHead, Royal Blue and 7 others 10

I used that method 3 winters ago and did well. Whites and bass on the a rig part, crappie and walleye on the flicker shad. Put a 2 foot peice of tippet on Center arm to flicker shad. grizwilson 1 A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at.. Ozark Trout Runners
