Maybe bring a picnic basket and make a day of it.

Might try focusing on your next pics too.

Hey no time to focus through the window. HAHaHAHAHA . So stinky I think I seen a maggot gag. Should I just surprise the Mrs. or let her know we will be on a picnic? Would a fillet "O" fish be a good choice? Rice pilaf for the side? That picture should go with the theme. Perhaps you could fly your drone over to photograph the event? I have just the place for operation with lift off and landing picked out,

Filet O Fish would be perfect!

Think I'll pass on this drone experience but if you ever want some pics from above let me know.

The pilaf would look like the maggots like there is on all those fish. Speaking of maggots a guy could get a bunch up there right now and use then in his sling shot to bait a carp fishing spot. How ironic .

I am telling you Ronnie that drone would be fun fanning the flies around up there. I am telling you that place is a mess. I hope the MDC worker running the track how had a breathing apparatus,

Down here at the access there are always kids swimming around the ramps, and you have to wait while they move their towels and floaties before you can launch or load.  Well a couple days ago a big old Spoonbill drifted up along the bank..and that sucker is getting riper by the day!   Cleared out all the swimmers for the time being.  😊

Took Orion down for a swim yesterday and it was so bad that he didn't even wanna roll in it.

Its a deal that happens all over each year. Rivers flood, invasive carp leave river and do what carp do feed and root and at the right time of the year spawn. Waters recede and carp stay in low spots like other fish invasive or native. Weather gets hot and pools dry up. Fish die. Same thing happens in the fall then shallow pools freeze. Fish die. It is life. Perhaps MoCarp you and your nationwide carp fisherman's  club can do some carp rescues?  Those fish are not wasted they go back into the ecosystem. Native fish are lost too. It is life. if the carp had stayed in Europe this would not of happened to them.

from the responses on the MDC page, I suspect we may see more changes, they took a lot of heat it seems on wasting the asian carp in Creve Coeur Lake... I can assure you the fact that many people fish for commons and buffalo and more EVERY day changes will happen.....MDC kind of between a rock and a hard place right now on many issues

MONKEYS? what monkeys?

If they had just used roetenon on the fish they could have said they were unsafe to eat and buried them, then planted a food plot on top.  Poof, win win.  Honestly I don't have a problem with them offering a short window to salvage the fish or simply burying them either one.
