Went out early this morning under the impression the drunks, the don't know how to drive a boat crowd, and the look at my expensive boat that does nothing narcissists had gone home. I was wrong. The first wake boat of the day went by me shortly after 6 AM.  By 8 AM it was sit in the boat or fall out.

There was no top water bite this morning.

I went to the jigging spoon and to swimming a keitech.

I caught one walleye, one white bass, and six bass before a ocean liner out of Big M tried to swamp me. None of what I caught was picture worthy.

I had the boat on the lift before 11.

Wow.

Put in at K-Dock yesterday over on Bull.  Waited on one at the ramp at 5:45.  Had the area mostly to ourselves until 11 or so.  Had the boat on the trailer at noon right as there started to be a few pontoons and jet skis.  Nothing like to the west though.

My son stayed at Big M camp ground all last week( from Saturday till Friday) and he went out fishing in the evenings and said boat traffic wasn't to bad at all.

I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything!

I have noticed over the last several days that the lake does tend to empty sometime between 5 and 6. I just wish it weren't so dang hot at that time.
