Flutter spoon questions

It wouldn’t surprise me. I know he really likes to fish them. His new River2sea signature spoon looks like a pretty decent one. Anyone try it yet? Opinions?

Talked to him the other day and it isnt out to the pubic yet. Looks nice comes with a good hook and a removable stinger. The spoon ive been doing well on needs a hook, swivel and if you ad a stinger it turns into a $7 spoon.   I have noticed the cables arent near as bad without a stinger. I havent noticed it making a difference in my hook up ratio.

I have noticed that I can’t buy it anywhere. It does look like exactly what I’m looking for in a spoon (something that will shoot back under the dock as it sinks).

Would you mind sharing with me what kind of spoon you are using and how you rig it? I am a complete noob with zero spoon fishing experience.

I use a 3/4oz Dixie Jet Flutter spoon most of the time, add a owner hyper wire split ring and a quality crane swivel (i use Spro).  Sometimes i will add a stinger hook but haven't been as of late, its a fun way to have the opportunity to catch 2 at a time.  I was throwing it on a MH x fast and losing a lot of fish, Mr. Babler hooked me up with a Falcon cranking rod and it has done the trick quite well.

Can get them 2x on just the treble as well

James Watson used that spoon on 1 on 1 live. He bet his competition $5000. He gave his competition the same spoon he was using and got beat. This was nothing but an ad campaign to sell his new spoons. It worked. Folks are lined up to get them.

My money says that Bass Zone put up the 5 Grand. It's a great publicity stunt. Can you imagine inviting a guy into your home, giving him you spoons, and giving him YOUR 5 Grand!
