I watched an airline pilot through his golf clubs and bag in a pond on #18 after he had a bad round.

In the golfer's case it was the shanks and a poor putter coupled with booze.

I can't imagine trying to hit a golf ball after having a few.

He didn't hit many either.  Not many good ones anyway.

I always look in the cockpit to make sure he's not flying any plane I'm on.

What I'm saying is, if you've flown commercially the odds are that SOMEONE on the flight is a golfer.  You inferred I meant the pilot.

But still, yeah you've probably been flown by a pilot who plays golf.

😁 haven't flown since about '71, not real likely to either. I built a shopping center  next to a golf course once and from the stuff I saw I shudder to think of a golfer pilot.
