The yellow is not lemon flavor.

Common knowledge.  Remember the one about an obscenity regarding Bill Clinton written in yellow snow on the White House lawn back when he was the joker in office?  Turned out it was Hillary's handwriting.

Rick it appears he did get the spider chair up there that year.   Yeah I remember you toughing it out.  The things we do for a good time!

So as of today my friend,  myself and my boat will officially not be making it down.  Very hard decision to make as i really looked forward to meeting all of you and also fishing the White river. I hope you all have a great time and catch a lot.  I was originally going to cover chips, water and soda.  I can paypal funds to cover that if needed and also towards lodging if more people arrive and you need 2 cabins.

Hearing from folks in the know that the river is running trashy. Some suggest that with the trashy water and crappie weather in the forecast a postponement until Feb should be considered. I don't know if I would be able to make a trip in Feb. But I also don't want to be sitting in the lodge due to snow and ice watching crap water going by and not being able to catch some fish either. If I am going to drive four plus hours one way and not catch fish I should just go to Crane creek😂

Thoughts?

Well with my party of 4 being newbies to the White I'll defer to the others.  Also my sanity when it comes to fishing in inclement weather is what others have called a bit off...

I tend to lack reason and common sense when it comes to chasing fish.

We are down for whatever, I'd like to hear more about the trash water though.

We need to let Ham see what it's like tomorrow.  If it's brown crap it was not worth the drive two years ago when it was turning over.

I have no issue fishing good water in bad weather. Just don't like fishing bad water in bad weather. Especially if there are options.
