Lifes2Short Posted December 14, 2018 Posted December 14, 2018 What a difference a day makes in the weather and the crappie bite! Loaded the boat today with some really nice SLABS for the hot oil!! Water temps were 42 and the crappie seem to have moved out onto the main lake flats, we found them in 16 to 25 feet of water. The brush piles I was doing so well on two weeks ago didn’t give up a crappie at all today or yesterday. Jigs in shad colors were all we fished with. Tight Lines! Johnsfolly Posted December 14, 2018 Posted December 14, 2018 Congrats on some great fish! Looks like a great fry in the making.
dan hufferd Posted December 14, 2018 Posted December 14, 2018 Wow nice ! I was going to go today, but the beans are down, brush needs to be burnt, the wife needs her back shaved again. Stuff like that. terryj1024, liphunter, BilletHead and 5 others 2 6
waterpossum Posted December 14, 2018 Posted December 14, 2018 Congratulations on a great day. The picture is an awesome comparison of a white vs. black crappie. Lifes2Short and JestersHK 1 1
Lifes2Short Posted December 14, 2018 Author Posted December 14, 2018 I was wondering who was going to make that comparison, you win! 😁 JestersHK and waterpossum 2
liphunter Posted December 14, 2018 Posted December 14, 2018 I would have picked up on it, but the mental picture of Dan shaving his wife back had me fogged up for a moment... dan hufferd, Lifes2Short, terryj1024 and 3 others 6 Luck is where preparation meets opportunity...... Or you could just flip a coin???
Dkman Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Great pics and report. Glad someone is having some luck!
