Bowl game

I notice the Tigers are playing in a Bowl game but I don't see any Jayhawks or Razorbacks participating. Interesting

Yeah, I don't know about Arkansas but KU decided to turn down all of their bowl invitations this year.

With a new coach and all they're just gonna wait until they make football's Final Four like they do in basketball most years.

Shouldn't take more than another couple hundred years..........

I just might watch that game, be interesting to see how Locke does, he's projected to be the first QB taken in the draft now that the Oregon QB has committed to playing another year at Oregon.

Arkansas is still at least a couple of years from being relevant again, especially since we don't play in the "soft side" of the SEC. 😄

Yeah, that's the one ... you know, with Tennessee, Vandy and South Carolina ... and most years, that basketball school with the slickster coach.

I hear they're talking to Northwest Missouri State (the real football school in the state) about coming on board in 2020 to kinda balance that deal out a little bit and make 'em a little more competitive with the West.

We'll have to wait and see I guess.

I can't believe Locke is playing.  Or the Oregon kid going back for another year.  Locke already got them to the bowl game so the school gets the money regardless.  What's in it for him?  Torn ACL and losing millions.......If I was his father I would have a talk with him.

That Oregon kid is doing Locke a big favor, NFL pay structure for rookies is based on where you get drafted.   Surely a head scratcher as to why that Oregon kid wants to stay another year, he was projected to be drafted ahead of Locke.

I agree. If you aren't in the four-team playoffs, why not use your bowl game to develop your younger players for next season?
