Alex Heitman Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 Nobody has said anything about it but the bass pro tour kicked off yesterday in Florida. I watched some of it between patients yesterday. Some big fish caught but not the avg fish weight I was expecting from Florida. I think today will turn out better and bigger fish will be caught. You can watch it starting at 9am on the major league fishing website. magicwormman, abkeenan and Royal Blue 3
abkeenan Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 Watched a little bit of MLF Live yesterday. Basically on Howell all day. Still just don't like the fact that it's not a 5 fish total. Howell caught twenty five, two pounders. Kinda lame. Also just can't get over that anglers get live updates of what other anglers weights are in real time. Lends itself to monkey see, monkey do in my estimation. Been a while Alex! Good to see you back. Open your own chiro practice? Let me guess the name.....Crackin' & Crankin? Hope all is well. magicwormman and snagged in outlet 3 2
snagged in outlet 3 Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 In past shows some of the guys have poached water and patterns. Catching retreads around the marina seems to be a 2nd and 3rd period deal for some that don't find fish elsewhere.
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 Average fish was under 2 lbs yesterday. And thats pretty sad on that chain of lakes. Dink fest as everyone was predicting. Wish they would show more fishing and less dudes talking snagged in outlet 3 1

These guys see where other competitors are fishing (which is normal in a regular tournament as well) but now they have those real time updates and can put two and two together. So and so I saw fishing up that creek this morning and looking at the live tracker he is crushing them up there........hmmmmm maybe I should mosey my way on up there and get in on that. Or, so and so is killing it today where ever he is......I know he is a -frogging/punching/cranking/drop shotting/swimbaiting/whatever- fool so I should probably switch to that bait or run that pattern too. snagged in outlet 3 1

Although Wesley Strader was seeing where the birds were and whacking them. Parts of it are pretty informative....
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 Anybody hear that blonde girl nterviewing guys call it lake Tahoe yesterday? LOL

Angler A getting an electronic update that Angler B is putting a hurtin' on them and then having that influence how Angler A approaches the tournament the rest of the day is another. At least anglers would have to wait til the end of day 1 of a tournament to see what kind of weights guys came in with and then adjust for day 2 and beyond. Now that information is had in minutes. Guess I am just getting old and cranky perhaps. snagged in outlet 3 1
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 On another website i saw they broke down each guys 5 biggest, and the biggest bag was 19 then 17 and so on. Which out of 40 guys you would think 20lbs would be easy on that lake. Maybe it will be better today with the warm up

Can't wait for a road rage type deal to break out when somebody crosses "the line" and straight up cuts in front of somebody. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
