Some months ago, I posted about my balance not being what it once was. I asked about pontoons. I received some excellent advice  from a number of people. Thanks!

This weekend I am headed to the Tulsa boat show. I will be looking at Vexus boats. I am particularly interested in their 19 foot center console. It has a huge front deck on a larger platform than what I have now. My interest is serious.

My present boat is a good one.  2016 Lund 1650 Rebel XS Sport (windshield) with a 90 HP Evinrude Etec and a MinnKota Ulterra. Other goodies - you know me, I tend to spend too much.

With trailer, the book says something around $16k.

Anyone interested enough for me to post pictures?

RPS takes very good care of his equipment. It probably looks brand new. And the livewell is trained for walleyes

What I am interested in buying and what I have.

Part of the equation? Within the year I am moving to a striper lake. Another part? I need/want a boat I can fall down in an and have high odds I will land in the boat. Third, this will be my last boat and I want to have something more than what I should buy.

By July I will be fishing Skiatook Lake . North of Tulsa. The wife and I closed on a permanent home  in Tulsa today. When we finish the school year, we go.

The new lake cannot match Table Rock. My Table Rock PB top water bass would be a lake record, much less my real PB. The lake has some walleye that no one seems to fish. The lake has hybrids and some stripes. None as large as what I caught in Texoma years ago.

It does not matter. The chase matters more than the results.

Do not get the wrong impression. I will love the new place and totally enjoy the fishing. I merely want to have my final wish rig.

I know the above sounds pathetic, but I try to tell the truth. So who wants to make a deal?

Those 90 Etec's must be bulletproof, as I have not even had the chance to lay my hands on one yet.

It and the 75 I had for 6 years before it have bee wonderful, and inexpensive to maintain as well. Makes me wonder why anyone would buy a four stroke.
