And both Ronnie and I agreed canoes have their place when transporting loads. And I am still open for you to try since you have never been in one. Nobody is trying to change your mind friend. At least I wasn't. BilletHead Just read my posts. Maybe more slowly. 😀 If you still can’t figure out my position, and how I got there, well then it’ll just have to remain a mystery. BilletHead 1 John

Members Cwallis Posted February 13, 2019 Members Posted February 13, 2019 Thanks. If I like it I will be motivated to upgrade. I raise hunting dogs which is my biggest hobby, but in the summer when it’s too hot to chase hogs I start fishing for smallmouth. Mainly iron and Washington counties. Small rivers and creeks. Wanted a kayak just to hold more gear and add a little comfort. Ham 1

I take them to the creek with me and the OL in the summer. The male always rides with me in the jet boat but the bitches prefer to ride in the canoes and kayaks with the wife and kids.
Members Cwallis Posted February 13, 2019 Members Posted February 13, 2019 Mountain curs and I have a couple black mouth curs. I don’t usually take them anywhere unless it’s hunting on count they like to stay gone. Lol. Wouldn’t be an enjoyable fishing trip.
top_dollar Posted February 13, 2019 Author Posted February 13, 2019 I'm raising a hunting dog! She sucks! Just kidding. She likes to pretend she's a hunter in the backyard, like a kid pretends to be superman fighting bad guys. BilletHead and JestersHK 2

tjm Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 The question about putting the canoe inside the SUV and closing the hatch is bugging me; so, can you put a 300# cap. kayak in the SUV and close the hatch?
