Someone needs to poke them with a stick. Big one. Hard. Over the head. Till they have trouble walking.

Zona wannabes. That loudmouth buffoon puts em in the livewell constantly on TV.

Not that it makes a difference or makes it right, but Zona 100% believes (other Michigan and up north guys too)  that especially smallmouth will some how alert the school of "danger" and it will turn the bite off. When he is on a big SM school pattern  and filming he will put them in the live well until he feels that all the large aggressive fish have been caught and then releases them before they move on to film another spot.  I am not saying its right or I agree that's just what he has come to believe.

Guys around here do that crap all the time.  It boils my balls.

The guides all do it so they can post pics/videos on their insanely gay Facebook accounts.  By the way.... Please Like And Subscribe! and call/text/or message them for a trip. 🙄

The YouTube channel guys do it so they can have an "end of day" scene in their videos.   It's the whole signing off, "thanks for watching", hallelujah thing.

Yeah, I'd like to shove all of them, and all their GoPro's, into a soggy bilge compartment and leave them there until they loose about 30 pounds, and don't feel handsome enough to be movie stars anymore.

You spelled "lose" wrong lol. (But I agree with everything you said).

He has the opportunity to be a mentor and hero to young anglers and he does this. Go figure! Man up and be a role model!

Not disputing the deal about spooking the school ... I can see that as a real possibility.

But I’ve also seen him do the same with big LM caught in totally different surroundings and mention taking a group photo later. I’ve even seen him ask his partner: “Think this one will make the cut?”

My opinion is that he’s a self-saturated poophead. I’m sure others see him differently.

He's mentioned it on several shows.  He said if you let them go they go tell the school the cops are here.:D

One of the guys on the latest MLF show said the same thing.

Here it is if you don't want to watch the full 22 minutes just forward to the video to the 3 minute 15 mark they catch one on an a-rig and he starts talking about it.

If you just throw a fish back in the water it takes off all frantic and I think other fish might truly pick up on that and it can put them on alert.

If you ease a fish gently back into the water so it swims off slowly, less all the drama, then I think the others would be less likely to become freaked out about it.
