Hit my subdivision ponds up twice now.  Slow and deep were the ticket.  I started out on the spinning rod and the small ned.  Went back that afternoon with the fly rod and stripped bead head wooly buggers.  They really woke up on that combo.

Caught some gills too that were beasts.  I went out today again for a minute and it was all gills, and big ones at that.  A tree finally broke me off so called it a day with the wind picking up.

Looking forward to warmer temps.  Although pretty in there winter colors I like my gills colored up!
