Members CAVECLOTH Posted April 12, 2019 Members Posted April 12, 2019 Hey guys, I have an older model Shawnee and can't stand the floor support ribs. They are a real pain when trying to use a spider chair/chairs. Does anyone have an idea of how to level out the floor surface without adding a lot of weight? Thanks for any suggestions!
jdmidwest Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 Diamond plate aluminum sheets work good. Use smooth if you want to slide around. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson

MrGiggles Posted August 17, 2019 Posted August 17, 2019 Stall mats work pretty well, and they quiet things down a bunch. Not the lightest or cheapest thing out there though. snagged in outlet 3 1 -Austin

Decide what you are looking for (length, width, year model range) and place an ad on Craig’s List, OA, Baxter Bulletin, and Harrison paper. You should get multiple offers. if you were local, I’d say drive around and look for negelected ones in ppl’s yards, carry a few $100 bills and drag home your “new” boat. That’s how I bought my first one. Bought it off a boat storage lot in mountain home.
Members Troutguy Posted August 18, 2019 Members Posted August 18, 2019 Since I'm 500 miles away it's kinda hard to ride around and find one. I'll pay you guys a nice tip to help find me one. I prefer a 48 wide, but don't know what year they started making them. I have a friend that does fiberglass work so a fixer upper would work too. Sorry about hijacking the thread.....
