Sprint21fter Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Caught 11 lbs like alot of the field yesterday. Several short fish, alot of short strikes, and several followers guarding beds and fry that would have helped. Caught everything on topwaters. Would throw floating worms and wacky rigs at the followers but never connected any of them. Looks to be a second wave of fish moving in. A couple if six lbers were weighed in. Wt: 63-65. Fished midlake. mixermarkb, magicwormman, m&m and 3 others 6
jim m Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 pressured is an understatement, there was around 600 boats just in tournaments. in my opinion it's getting obscene the number of tournys these days especialy on some of our smaller lakes Champ188 and magicwormman 2
STLbassbuster Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 I have no issues with growing the sport but we could do a better job of managing tournament volumes per weekend on the lake. Also BASS & FLW should follow MLF catch/weigh/release. magicwormman, Smalliebigs, snagged in outlet 3 and 1 other 2 2

BASS just proved it down on Falcon with Texas Fest. Bring one 20" fish back to the stage for the crowd, weigh release the rest on the boat where the fish was caught.
