What, do they think a 10 spot is gonna change anyone's mind about whether they wanna fish there or not? Either hike the prices, or quit whining about lack of funding. Wasn't it 2 years ago that they laid off all the maids and landscaping employees(nobody to scrub bathrooms and empty trash cans)? WTF was that all about anyway. I wish they'd let me manage that place for a year or two....by God we'd do some actual quality improvements, grow some nice fish, and make some serious money!
Gavin Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 I don’t like to fish Bennett but a $10 fee to fish would be good value for what is offered. Private trout parks are $60+ a day per person for C&R. Pay by the pound keep all can be more ore less expensive.
fshndoug Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 Wrench you need to run for Potus you sure could give Nancy a run for her money

Flyfisher for men Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 I happened to spot this from the Missouri state parks website: "The swimming pool will not be opening Memorial Day weekend due to the pump being under flood water preventing needed electrical repairs." There may be life for the pool after all. https://mostateparks.com/advisory/81361/swimming-pool-opening-delayed-bennett-spring-state-park
