Sure buddy...how bought you get off the computer and maybe talk to some real life humans or something. I’ve spent my entire professional career in fisheries research and fish more than you could ever imagine.  Unlike you, I don’t spend my entire life poking away on the internet playing “pro fisherman” and trolling away.  You are clearly the epitome of an outdoorsman.  There’s plenty of handicap access points available, maybe go spend some time at one and get a better perspective on things.

About*.....I am held back by heath issues not choice,  little by little I’m working back into it, trying to belittle my prowess as an angler to corrupt my stance on ( topic of the day)  your snide comments betray your intent...in person I don’t come across as assey,

as a note I am happy to PM a couple of places one might encounter some of these humongous sunfish...

As a side note I do a bit of research for some of biologist friends, soon an interesting abstract will be published...can’t wait to post it here

A drug dealer?

Never did any drugs....or consumed much alcohol ether, or smoked...camped, hunted, fished and trapped....my only vice per-say was muscle cars, SCCA racing (autocross) typical sports...

as a young adult I volunteered helping youth, coaching, kids fishing events...those sorts of things.

i can tell you one of the most satisfying things ever is a happy kid  after they catch a big fish!

Who exactly would those biologist be?  How exactly are you contributing to this research?  What journal are you targeting for submission?  You realize you can't cut and paste from websites when writing research articles and youtube videos aren't relevant to a scientific study?  Will they publish more than an abstract?  How's about you give us a general outline of the study.

I remember that line of questioning before the Connecticut regulations were ratified, I’m perfectly aware how submitting abstracts works and how projects for Masters and PHd work...I have even requested carp related info from biologists who frequent this forum ( thanks again btw) One interesting tidbit I’ll share is the migration habits of common carp, they are VERY specific where that go...always to where they were hatched...in a lake population may have a population that has multiple spawning areas, but individuals that may school together in the main lake, but head to each individual spawning areas...did you know common carp have been aged to over 50 years?

I had a brief conversation with a lady at the airport recently. She was travelling with 7 college-aged kids and when I asked her where they were from she said Southern Illinois University. So I said, 'Oh, a Saluki!' She laughed and said, 'No they're our rivals -- we're the Edwardsville campus and we're the Cougars!'

So I learned something.
