Anyone know where "generally" the BEST "Largemouth" area is on Table Rock ?

Will- I have found that anywhere on the lake can be the best largemouth area at certain times. Upper the river arms are good and the central lake has been good for me in the past several weeks.

My guess is, generally largemouth bass are distributed fairly equally around the lake in a macro sense. In a micro sense time of year, water temp / clarity, weather effects etc dictates where your find largemouths. I think most would agree that a person could catch a nice stringer or a trophy LM anywhere on this lake from Holiday Island to Cape Fair to Cricket Creek. IMHO

Trophy-class largemouths are very hard to come by on this lake anymore. We saw a couple during this past year's Big Bass Tour event, but these days, anything over 6 pounds is a trophy for Table Rock.

This has been on my mind for quite a while...especially for the smallmouth. Although Bo has caught a couple of dandies lately, it seems the days of those big smallmouth are nearly over

the big browines are actually getting more plenitful, at least for me.  i've caught numerous smallies in the 4 and 5 lb. range this year, and one that was definitely in the 6 lb. class.  from kimberling city up, there seems to be more largemouth up in the 5 lb. range than there has for quite a number of years.  keep in mind that many bass have become open water feeders.  i still do not see the evidence on my electronics that we have any where near the number of bass that we had pre fish kill era.  i say that because i know what the graph would look like before, and i know what it still looks like now, and that is, really not much there.  i will say that we now have more bass in the lake than we have had since the fish kill.  we certainly have the food source to supply a much larger game fish population.

When I lived off Big Indian most fish were Spots and smallmouth only ONE largemouth ( 6.6lb) in 3 years..  When I moved to Holiday Island, spots, walleye & an occasional rainbow, smallmouth once/twice a week. Now I'll be securing a spot on Indian Point. Was wonder what the majority was, sallies, spots, largemouth. In the 90s, we heard the Aunts creek in the spring produced lots numbers of Largemouth (unverified)... Spots must be pretty hearty- they seem to be everywhere.

There's a certain dock in Beardsley that holds schools of jumbo sized largemouth year round.  Pretty easy to catch, just cast a wacky rigged Senko near one of the dock cables and wait for the thump.

However, one of the dock owners is a bit psycho.  If he sees you anywhere near the dock, he'll throw rocks at you and make nasty comments about you and your family. 

There's also the rabid mink that inhabits that dock, sneaky little devil, you won't even know he's there until you feel him chewing on your ankle.
