Boobie Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 Wrench, the ingredients are natural vanilla, mint, rose. A friend who works in a swamp swears by it. ive tried it and it seems to keep clear of my face area.(only place I use it).Better than deet in my opinion. Gnats and any flying bugs stay away. have not used it on legs for chiggers as I haven't been in the grass yet. Just got this stuff a couple of months ago when the buffalo gnats were bad. 🦟 fishinwrench 1

I find it amazing that at 56 years old, after spending my whole life in and around the woods I have never had a real problem with these "parasites" until NOW. I mean, what gives? The little bastages have been around forever, right?
Ryan Miloshewski Posted September 6, 2019 Author Posted September 6, 2019 So....anybody shoot any doves lately? “To those devoid of imagination a blank place on the map is a useless waste; to others, the most valuable part.”--Aldo Leopold

The best areas I see every year are new construction grading with crab grass growing in them. We hunted a new subdivision lot about 5 years ago out by the levee district. I've never seen so many birds right up until the sheriff showed up. He let us keep the birds though. tho1mas 1
wily Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 The oldest limited out both days we hunted...Sunday and Monday...1st and 2nd I didn’t shoot very good 1st day but did better Monday...it got hot Monday morning early...really foggy opening day. We didn’t hunt in the evening mojo doves make big difference...they’re worth the forty bucks. snagged in outlet 3 1
wily Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 Crab grass might be good if you live in town...but I’d rather hunt cut corn snagged in outlet 3 1

Hunter91 Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 Hunted Bois D Arc CA the first day will 11 guys in our group. We killed 92 doves. I caught a graze to my cheek and three hard hits to the back that didnt break the skin due to another group shooting at a low bird close to me. Besides that incident it was a great day! snagged in outlet 3 1

I've been pelted, even after a thorough pre hunt warning to not shoot at low flying birds. Sounds like a great time! Hunter91 1
