Kayser Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 Got my first antelope yesterday, in eastern Montana. Three hour drive one way, which is why I look like I need a nap (because I do). Really liking the spot-and-stalk type of hunting out here. Liking the Block Management program to open private land for public hunting. Not liking the smell on these critters. Finally got some meat in the freezer! BilletHead, Greasy B, JestersHK and 5 others 8 WARNING!! Comments to be interpreted at own risk. Time spent fishing is never wasted.
Gavin Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 Good for you! They stink, but those goats are tasty! Kayser 1

The meat is delicious. JestersHK and Kayser 2
Johnsfolly Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 Pronghorn are on my bucketlist. Currently spend too much time chasing the fish (and money sofar). Now maybe if I knew a guy😌.... JestersHK 1

Tags are cheaper, population is better, and and it's slightly closer to Missouri. Not as prone to October snow, either. Start saving & planning now, and you could be hunting 2020 or 2021. Make a plan and stick to it, then go fill a tag! JestersHK, Johnsfolly and Daryk Campbell Sr 2 1 WARNING!! Comments to be interpreted at own risk. Time spent fishing is never wasted.
