River Level

How is the river below bennett to NRO?  Was hoping to wade fish it this weekend.

It just fell out to wadable levels today, should be good until Thursday when it gets more rain.  Better check the guage on Friday.

I ran up the meramec a couple miles Saturday.  Wind picked up heavy and it took me 5 stops to get leaves out of the jet  to get back to ramp.

That 4-stroke lacks the snappiness on a trottle-snap to suck a soggy leaf past the gate and blow it out, doesn't it?   😂

Last motorized vehicle I owned with "throttle-snap" was a 250 R 3 wheeler.  Brraap!  Before that a Kawasaki Tecate 250 3 wheeler.  My sons Mustang GT and later he had a Subaru WRX that was pretty fun to drive.

On a related note for all the golfers out there like @vernon.  PSA:  Stay away from Forest Park Golf Course for about a month until they get the leaves cleaned up.  The place is loaded with giant sycamores.
