Lifes2Short Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 Awesome day on the lake, light winds and balmy temps!!! 2 limits of crappie by 9:20 with 2 keeper eyes and one nice bass....which is still swimming. Jigs in 35+ feet of 43 degree water. Even fed the wildlife at the ramp. Tight & thumping lines!! laker67, zarraspook, Old dog 417 and 6 others 8 1
olfishead Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 Seems like I've seen those fish somewhere before! Good job! Thanks too! Lifes2Short 1
Dutch Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 Congrats. I’m glad someone is getting out there. I’d really like to be pounding the water.
Skeeter ZX190 Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 Obviously your tremendous luck can be attributed to one, and only one thing. Your partners sweatshirt colors!😁 terryj1024, Heretolearn and Lifes2Short 3
Old dog 417 Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 I pulled into that ramp sometime after 3 PM to install a Drotto Boat Latch on my boat trailer. I don't know when you left but that hungry old possum was still there and he was busy. He was so tired from dragging fish carcasses around he was staggering. He'd get into real difficulty in the rip rap and have to stop, drop his feast, and rest a bit. Of course his actions didn't go unnoticed by herons and gulls that wanted a share of his bounty. The last I saw of him, he was backing his way into the woods dragging a fish carcass, and grinning from ear to ear! Good job on the fish "catchin"! ! od Daryk Campbell Sr and Lifes2Short 2

Love my Drotto boat latch. Just put one one a month ago. Used it here at my little local lake several times. Walleyedmike 1
jdmidwest Posted January 17, 2020 Posted January 17, 2020 Probably a rabid possum. Should not be out in daylight looking for anything. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
