@tjm Not so much trying the Duane technique. Probably just pulling out due to not getting wrapped. I will have to pay closer attention to it. It only happened on the last pictured Jig. The other ones are very heavily wrapped as you can see.

If you ever find good Arctic fox hair, you may never look back. Trick is finding it long enough for bigger jigs

Good to know. I will keep my eye out. I will trade you 2 of mine for 2 of yours.

Big improvement on the jigs in a short time. Tying jigs when the weather conditions are too bad to be fishing keeps me from going crazy. I lay down a thread base first and after the first couple of loose wraps to position the material I crank down on the thread to lock it in place. Here is a few from yesterday.   Stand up jigs are possum, badger hackle with a bit of flash and the underspins are possum tails, flash with a bunny body.   IMG_1037.JPGIMG_1036.JPGIMG_1038.JPG

@JUNGLE JIM 1 I am going to have to agree with you on the downtime not fishing. Those look really nice. I am going to have to try those patterns. I really like the 2 different materials you used. Great Job
