PLease Msg me since Giving tips in here is like a blaring headline in the news. I will exchange info was th you ( if I am able to fish) after I get mohel to the area
Seth Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 I know you have Port Hudson and the MO River out that way, but I don't know what else there is really.
snagged in outlet 3 Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 We pounded Port Hudson when it first opened. Then the general population in St. Louis discovered it and then the crowds came.
fishinwrench Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 Whatever that little creek is that you cross between Hermann and NewHaven, I waded and fished it 10-12 years ago and had some fun. Greasy B 1

Boeuf Creek. This review of it I found with a google search sounds like a true fisherman’s review of a body of water: “Fishermen will find that there are no fish here. That's right, no fish. No rainbows, no steelies, no pinks, no perch, no muskies. Nothing. So keep looking for another spot nearby and you'll be glad you did. Alternate names for this stream include Riviere au Boeuf, Buffalow River and Buffalo River.“ Daryk Campbell Sr 1 -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson

There's another one over by Swiss that is just like it. And what's the name of that place near there that has a couple lakes and they sell time shares? They even dump trout in there during the Winters. I stayed there once (skinny dipped in it) during my internet dating phase, but can't recall the name of it. Pretty place.
snagged in outlet 3 Posted January 17, 2020 Posted January 17, 2020 I haven’t looked at google earth but I bet you find access a lot tougher now. It’s funny how they fence off the shoulders near bridges these days. They appease the local land owner by getting rid of the parking without having to hassle with the rest of us.

fishinwrench Posted January 17, 2020 Posted January 17, 2020 Hidden Valley! That's what it's called. What a creative name, right? Wonder how many "Hidden Valley resort"s there are across the U.S. ? And also wonder if all of them are a sanctuary for extra marital affairs.
