On a few visits to the garden lately a leetle rabbit surprised us and ran away. Now worries-the fencing we put up seemed to be working fine.

Tonight we were searching the bush beans and noticed a hollowed out section where they were eaten off. Checked the fencing around the bed and found this:

There is some plastic turds around somewhere.  Track him down and stomp on him.

What's wrong with my zucchini?  Plant looks great, huge leaves and lots of blooms.  But the fruit is just not developing right.  Stays about the size of my index finger?
One of them is already turning yellow like over ripe ones do.  Plenty of moisture, but not flooded.  I do not get it.  Normally by now it's time to start hiding them in neighbor's cars.

Never grow zucchini so no experience but lots of foliage and not much fruit happens if you over do it with nitrogen fertilizer.

Tomato pruning time again. This time I removed everything within about 18" of the ground. Insects will attack the lowest leaves and branches, and that's where damage can lead to other issues.  Had a wheel barrow half full of tomato leaves when I was done. The plants I grow tend to have huge leaves that grow downward and one leaf can be 16-18"+ long so they can really hang low around the bottom of the plant and attract bugs.

Had to water again today. With as hot as it's been in our area, and very little rain, like an inch in a month, it's a good idea to keep the ground saturated regularly to prevent  calcium lockout. Also a good idea to spray some Bonide 544 and 166 early before sunrise while the dew is still on the plants for additional preventative maintenance. I use 544 one day, then 166  the next, then  Neem another time and repeat as directed on the labels. Blooms really drop and won't set as easily if not taken care of when there is a 100° heat index and practically no rain.

Counted close to 200 green Belgium pink . Some are already nearing a pound plus.

Cocktail tomatoes there must be  at least a  thousand, maybe more, green ones.  A few hundred on each plant.

All I have is tomatoes and watermelons this year. So there's not much else to report on.

If they don’t get pollinated, squash will just shrivel and fall off - insecticides/dusting can kill pollinators.   One other possible cause could be lack of calcium - I have seen both give squash the problem you describe.
