Mitch f Posted May 13, 2020 Posted May 13, 2020 To me this is the most bizarre movie coincidence of all time. In the movie the Big Lebowski, Jeff Bridges is inside a store writing a check… He looks up and sees a television with George HW Bush talking about Saddam Hussein. They then Pan down to the check that he’s writing at the store and it has a date of September 11, 1991...Exactly 10 years before the world trade centers fell. The movie was made in 1998… 3 years before the World Trade Center’s fell Johnsfolly and wily 2 "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
wily Posted May 14, 2020 Posted May 14, 2020 That’s crazy Mitch...I never noticed...you need to add that one to the conspiracy theory post my favorite movie is caddyshack. Oh brother where art thou...is close second. Both movies have a great dialogue Mitch f, Johnsfolly and Deadstream 3
fishinwrench Posted May 14, 2020 Posted May 14, 2020 There have been several times in movies where the date Sept.11 has been mentioned. I think Forrest Gumps mom died on that date, or it was the date on the letter sent to Bubba's momma..... something like that. It was mentioned in Steel Magnolias also, which brought about the Sally Fields conspiracy thing. If Sally Fields had been cast in the Big Lebowski....boy wouldn't that have been something? 😲 My birthday has been mentioned a few times in movies too. How special is that?!?! Mitch f 1
Ryan Miloshewski Posted May 14, 2020 Author Posted May 14, 2020 I just think it's hilarious he wrote the check for $.69 Mitch f 1 “To those devoid of imagination a blank place on the map is a useless waste; to others, the most valuable part.”--Aldo Leopold
