I left today at 11 and hit my usual smallie stream.  Water was up but not "bad" color.  Nobody around on a Thursday except the Highway Patrol.  Ran about 4 miles with the new 90 Rude!!!   Love it!!!  I thought from the beginning I landed on them but only got a couple pecks on jigs and swim baits.  Went through my usual rotation of baits and put on a creature bait.  They mauled it from the start.  Spent 2.5 hours catching.  The pictures are of two 14"s and 2 16's.  I had an 18'er on the board and when I took my hand off to snap the pic he flopped right overboard.  Good for him!!  caught a bunch more smaller than these. All released and a beautiful trip while "working from home".

Awesome! Still have not been fishing since January. Plan to load the kayaks, hitch the camper, and tow to a friends hobby farm in KS next week.  It's my oldest girls 13th Birthday, and she is getting a 12' SOT kayak, and some other stuff. Girls have not left the house in two  months and they need to get out. Our friends property has access to a 350 acre lake with LMB and Hybrid Striped Bass & Whites...Not much pressure, only saw  3-4 boats a day fishing last time there. Will do some shooting too.

I took calls.

When you had service and there wasn't a fish on.  Still I know what you mean.  Back then, whenever there was service, if the phone rang it got answered.  Usually pretty calm.  Then there was this one time when I was striper fishing on Beaver with friends and Johnny Morris wanted a meeting right now about a problem at Big Cedar.  I bet you've taken a call or two like that.  Not today though, hopefully.

Cell service all day.  MI, LA, FL, SC, MT, IL.  As I’ve learned, most of my customers in the pile driving business are outdoorsmen.  They’re on the water all day all day In a big way.

Little Rat Fink found the chromatic  tuner that she misplaced. Love that old Rat Fink Hot Rod stuff!
