Mitch f Posted May 8, 2020 Posted May 8, 2020 I’ve been intrigued by square bill crank baits the last 2 years. I’ve tried a few of the recommended high dollar ones, and the middle of the road ones. They can be super effective before, during, and after the spawn. I would like to know which ones you guys throw, and why? "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
Basfis Posted May 8, 2020 Posted May 8, 2020 Bagley’s. B2 and B3. Bluegill patterns are my favorite, especially the brass eyed old muted patterns. liphunter and Mitch f 2
fishinwrench Posted May 8, 2020 Posted May 8, 2020 Lucky Strike RC's. They have some kinda magic going for them. Basfis, snagged in outlet 3, liphunter and 2 others 5
snagged in outlet 3 Posted May 8, 2020 Posted May 8, 2020 I have many different models. Just like plastic worms. Some lakes it’s one, the next it’s another. I fish a lake that bass fall all over themselves for a 10” blue worm. Anything else.... Nada. Mitch f 1
fishinwrench Posted May 8, 2020 Posted May 8, 2020 If anybody is a freak for the SK KVD's in the med. and large sizes, I'll gladly trade for LS RC's, or sell.
nomolites Posted May 8, 2020 Posted May 8, 2020 I’m with you on this Wrench, I have a few RCs and the 1.5s in natural shad are money; not giving them up. Mike fishinwrench 1
Basfis Posted May 8, 2020 Posted May 8, 2020 The craziness of the B is unmatched. that said, the newer stuff ain’t too shabby and certainly more durable Mitch f 1

Mike I love the red craw one in early Spring, and that copper back/green sided one (whatever it's called) is an absolute bass destroyer before, during, and after the spawn. Water color doesn't even seem to matter.....as long as it's not gin clear. Nobody throws a square bill in CLEAR water, do they?

I love them...if only they lasted longer. Them darn circuit board lips of the newer baits are the bomb though. Ham 1 "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
