Dutch Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 I just saw on Facebook that Taney and Bull are the same level. Do you think the stripers will move on up?
curtisce Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 695, I thought that was the top of the dam on Bull Shoals. better keep dumping the water since TR opened up the flood gates at noon today The answer may not lie at the bottom of a glass, but you should always check
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted May 30, 2020 Root Admin Posted May 30, 2020 This has happened before... and we've not gotten any. I mean the lakes have been full like this before. But I wouldn't be surprised at all if some come over Powersite and up our lake. Would be a first. Terrierman 1
wily Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 They would get big if they did...be like cookie monster Ryan Miloshewski, trythisonemv, BilletHead and 2 others 3 2
curtisce Posted May 31, 2020 Posted May 31, 2020 Right now Ozark Beach at powersite is 702 and Bull shoals is at 695. might want to go down could be interesting watching stripers try to get over the dam. Quillback 1 The answer may not lie at the bottom of a glass, but you should always check
MOPanfisher Posted May 31, 2020 Posted May 31, 2020 I remember seeing it when it was nothing more than a bump in the flow.from Taney to Bull, back when they had removed the boards seems like 90 or 91 maybe. There would certainly be possibility for it to happen, and yeah I bet they would grow like hogs in there.
MickinMO Posted May 31, 2020 Posted May 31, 2020 Is there a source for Taney tailwater level? BS 695 is downstream at the dam. Would be higher upstream and taney is 702 at powersite dam.
Dutch Posted May 31, 2020 Author Posted May 31, 2020 I just checked usgs it showed Taneycomo tail race at 702.56.
