I'm a big fan of the Exide Nautilus 1000....or equivalent.  Regardless of what motor I'm hooking it up to.

I'd run them in my truck if they made them in side post 😊

FVP has the same exact battery with a different label on it.  Made in the same factory.

I bought Duracell again.  $10 off if you order online and $10 rebate from Duracell.  $79 after rebate is hard to beat.  I'd buy the exides again but they were hard to locate and hard to pay up for.    Duracell Ultra BCI Group 24M High CCA Starting Marine & RV Battery.  Cold Cranking Amps: 800.

And they load them in your truck when you pull up.  I'll let everyone know how they do over the next 3 years.  Thanks for your help @fishinwrench

Hey, you did all the heavy lifting!  But you're welcome all the same. 😊

I want to keep my rig going.  I love this thing.  Maybe ore than my first camaro....  Or maybe any of my cars or trucks actually.  My wife will disagree.  Her and my mom loved my first step side Sierra.  It had aftermarket exhaust and was just plain fun to drive.  You shoulda seen my mom going 90 in western Kansas in it on vacation.  You couldn't wipe the grin off her face...

@snagged in outlet 3 Looks like you picked up the same battery I replaced my cranking battery with. So far no issues.

I throw a charger on mine almost everytime I get home. Its not unusual to read 12.6v after a morning on the water. I typically make a lot of short runs so, I don't believe the motor gets the chance to fully recharge the battery.

@fishinwrench Agree with you on the exide.  If I could have sourced one locally, I would not have looked elsewhere.

I wanted to dig this back up and give a long term report on the Duracell batteries. All 3 are perfect.

Mostly I wanted to report on the long term use of the troller batteries. I just got back from a week at Taney and I never charged them once due to the availability of electricity.  They were just as good on the 5th day fishing as the first.  And this was in current and using spot lock a lot.  Just thought I would throw that out there.

Not to change the subject back...but...

Those marks on the graph don't look like a rock to me...more like some brush/bush or a root wad.  With fish around it.
