Members lmt-outfitters Posted July 18, 2020 Members Posted July 18, 2020 Well I finally got to live a dream of mine. Went to Lake Sakakawea and fished the MWC. Got our butts handed to us but it was a great experience. We got 42nd out of 43 boats. Had a 3 lb penalty for being late by 3 min to the weigh in the first day Lol. (Battery troubles) second day we weighed our 5 fish could never get on the big fish. Lost our biggest at the boat. So we definitely looked like rookies but we r ready to give it a go again next year. If I can find a partner to fish them I'm going to try to fish 3 events. My partner from this year is only planning to fish one with me. Since I have been back have had 3 trips to Stockton have caught 46 walleye in those trip with only 10 keepers. Almost all the shorts r 13 inches. 18ft bottom bouncing. Can not consistently find keepers. liphunter, YakAttack, wtr dogs and 3 others 6

Well since I guide on Stockton need to figure it out there. And the drive to Stockton is far enough. I do hear they have some nice one on Table Rock
Heretolearn Posted July 19, 2020 Posted July 19, 2020 The good fish were hitting 2-3 weeks ago. I had my best run of 4 trips ever for size. These were over a 9 days. Nothing huge, but consistent. The craziest thing was that the 4th of July was the slowest traffic day of the summer so far and it is usually the busiest in my experience(which is only the past 3 years). I had to fish most of the day yesterday to get 3 keepers, but it was fun. I caught 7 shorts. The catfish were hitting crazy early and then hit a run of drum later on.
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted July 19, 2020 Posted July 19, 2020 We have been catching quite a few Spooning docks on Table Rock, My buddy uses a white spoon and i use chrome, they almost always prefer the white. We have caught a lot of small 12-14 inchers this year too. Most of them between 20-30ft Hunter91, nomolites, wtr dogs and 5 others 8
