Lifes2Short Posted July 28, 2020 Posted July 28, 2020 Got on the water at daybreak out of Mutton Creek. Headed up the Big Sac and had a ball on top-water and also gitzits. I was catching top water fish up until about noon when it got hot enough for me to come home. LOL snagged in outlet 3, straw hat, Rootman and 15 others 16 2
Dutch Posted July 28, 2020 Posted July 28, 2020 Great pics. Keep them coming. I had hand surgery this morning so all of my fishing for the next week or two will be vicarious. BilletHead and Lifes2Short 2

olfishead Posted August 2, 2020 Posted August 2, 2020 Tried TW early yesterday morning ....nothing. caught a couple later on cranks. Pretty slow. .
Sam Posted August 3, 2020 Posted August 3, 2020 Great pictures! We've been slow-trolling minnows on 1/16 oz. jigheads for crappie and walleyes, and of course fishing that way we catch a fair sampling of everything else too. The bass have been especially active this year - lots of smallies in the spring and early summer, and now largemouths. We haven't seen any spotted bass lately, they must be out in deeper water. We have caught three Meanmouths this year in the 17 inch or so range, and those are sure spectacular-looking fish that fight like crazy. We're not looking for bass, but when we get ahold of an occasional big bass on 4 lb. test and a 5' 6" light-action spinning outfit, it can take you around the boat a couple of times. The first comment after hook-up is usually "Uh-oh, that ain't a crappie!". Old dog 417 and wtr dogs 1 1
