Seth Posted August 9, 2020 Posted August 9, 2020 Water was up slightly and pretty dingy. Caught 7 in a few hours on a black/yellow 1/16oz marabou jig just above the next dump below the bathroom hole. Missed a lot of bites since I had to detect bite by feel alone. Bait definitely works better in the dingy water but didnt have any treble hooks handy to try it. snagged in outlet 3, laker67, Quillback and 1 other 4
snagged in outlet 3 Posted August 9, 2020 Posted August 9, 2020 They got 6” of rain in Sullivan. Musta missed the park I guess. I like it there.
JUNGLE JIM 1 Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 It's a lot more fun when you see them take your jig. Is camping allowed at the park now? I like camping there at one of the primitive sites for a day or two during the week. Johnsfolly 1

Gavin Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 There is a campground, road right of the gate. Not sure if they have water or electric, but level pads big enough for most tow behind campers. Camped there once years ago in our old pop-up Coleman. Restrooms there were horrid. Bring a 5 gallon bucket.

JUNGLE JIM 1 Posted August 23, 2020 Posted August 23, 2020 They do have water, electric sites and two decent restrooms with showers at one of them. I camp at one of the primitive camp sites almost every year for the past 20 years or so.
