They are all asian carp for sure...😂

I've caught some giant ones over in IL and I thought they were big heads.   I'm talking 2-3'ers.

I bet the big ones are easier to tell apart.  Folks have said they are actually tasty!

I went to Bagnell to catch white bass and hybrid stripers and caught this 23 to 24 inch silver carp on a spoon.

I also foul hooked a bighead that was over 25 inches also with the spoon.

I did end up catching the whites and hybrids.

I hit a spot on a bigger river...fished from both sides, actually, waded around a bit.

Saw a beaver up close and personal. Got some videos from as close as about 3-4' away.  These are pics from the videos.

Had a strike on a blockhead popper, and had a Longnose Gar strike a few times at a chartreuse beadhead mylar bugger.

Gave up.

Headed to the creek that has been kind to me lately.  It was really slow, with far far fewer fish showing themselves.  Still, it was an ok day, caught 10 species!  They were: White Bass, Largemouth Bass, Bluegills, Redear Sunfish, Longear Sunfish, Hybrid Sunfish, Channel Catfish, Grass Carp, Shortnose Gar, and a foul-hooked Silver Carp.

Nothing was particularly big.  I didn't photograph each species, but here's a sampling:
