So you seem to have an opinion on everything on OAF but don't seem to have on on this subject? Thus it is all right to debunk others opinions?

Just who is full of beans? 🤣

I don't have an opinion on everything.  There are way more threads on OAF that haven't had ME in them, then there are threads that I have posted in.

I didn't debunk your opinion until you DEMANDED that I respond to it.   I was just gonna leave you to it, but NOOOOO you made me respond to it.

Stop picking fights and go change your pad. 😂

My two-bit WAG:  Norfork’s(the lake) DO can get funny when things warm....most stripers head to the dam area to stay deep but I could see some choosing the good water coming in from the NFoW for the same reason.  And they DO like trout...

There was no demand I simply asked your opinion. You made the choice to respond. Put your big girl panties on and straighten up.

My opinion was that you were full of beans.  I wasn't gonna say it.....but then you pushed me to reply.

See, I can't win here.   You demand that I give my honest opinion, and when I do, you take offense.

I ain't no striper expert, I just fly by what I've seen and experienced.  Things that make sense to me I assume are true until I learn differently.  I don't change my mind just because some biologist claims something else..... because 90% of the time they are FOS.

I did not demand your response. I asked but you made the choice to respond. I did not take offense to opinion because you had no opinion at all or did I miss that?

Who told you that Norforks D.O. gets funny?    What's funny about it?   Why is it funnier than anywhere else that stripers inhabit?

They wouldn't have to move to the dam area in order to be "deep"....That lake is deep as hell everywhere.   There may be current in the dam area that resembles tidal influx, and if they gravitate to that area I would assume that to be the reason.  Not just because it's deep there.

I doubt that they "enjoy" eating trout better than they enjoy eating shad, bass, or creek chubs.

Go back and read how it all transgressed.    I bypassed a thought you had, but then you pinned me down on it.

Ya did too!    😅

Now stop it.   I have to go back to work.

No one pinned anybody.  You made that choice.

  You stop it!

You are correct, you are not a striper expert.  Nor am I, hence the precursor “WAG”....I base my comment on my observations...I will leave the why to you.

Stipers are definetly in the NFoW. Hooked a big one right below Kelly Ford a month ago. Saw several schools of striper in a few other spots on the way down to Sunburst. Schools of 10-30 fish. They are there for sure.

Well now I wanna go catch one. And I’ll go and spend time, money and effort but will undoubtedly have nothing to show for it. And it will be all your fault Gavin. I hope you can live with that.
