Bees, they have a sense of reason.

Yeah some insects do things that make me wanna give them more credit.  Gerald the horsefly was no dumbazz, that's for sure.  He knew exactly how far he could push me, and he was way more bold around the girls than he was when I was in the pool.

I actually went soft several times when I could have easily killed him.  He played me well.

Yeah it happens 😢

Naw, Gerald never actually bites anyone, he just plays like he is going to and actually has become a welcome part of every pool day.   Oh how he loves to make mom and the kids freak out, screach, dive and splash water everywhere 😎 it adds alot of fun.

He accidentally trapped himself in the surface film one day, and I thought the kids were going to start crying.   I carefully scooped him up with the net, let him dry himself off.....and the fun continued.     He's a good guy.  We love him. 🤗

I let Steve the skink live in my garage.  I like seeing him and when you first see him it’s like seeing a snake makes you flinch at first.  But he’s harmless

I warmly welcome all skinks and lizards.  Saw one chase down and pounce on a spider and eat it once....and fell instantly in love with them.

I have a lizard that lives behind my test tank that may honestly be a state/world record for his species.   I'll get a pic of him the next chance I get.  He is quite large.  Biggest I've ever seen.

Trying not to exaggerate here..... he's every bit of 11" and probably 2.75" girth. Has a head like a pit bull. He does alot of pushups.
