oneshot
Was at Lead Mine CA they have Riding Trails. Part of the way is on gravel roads. I was headed home this woman on her horse motioned for me to shut my Pickup off. Seems her horse didn’t like vehicles. Over there a horse has to be ready for anything. I’ve had them go nuts seeing me in camouflage, seen them go nuts over the smell of blood and gun shots. I’ve had horses and you have to work with them. Let them know you will not let anything happen to them. To me they are a very big Dog. Had one leave the Tailgate down it would climb in the Pickup wanting to go for a ride. oneshot
fishinwrench
If you notice, the trails of road apples shows that they won't even allow the animal to stop for 10 seconds to take a crap. Somebody should get behind THEM when they are doing their business and make THEM keep working while they $#!t. No stopping to crap or piss azzhole! You keep raking that hay! jdmidwest
Never had a use for them either. Rather pour gas and oil in what I ride than have to feed it hay, get it shots, and shoot it when it gets old. Probably gonna spend a nice weekend in the hay this weekend to feed the horses I don't own or ride.... Gavin
I’ve always found Horseback riding to be less comfortable than walking, but my daughters like to ride and take lessons a couple times a month. Not gonna buy a horse for sure. Great way to waste allot of time and money.
jdmidwest
In a way, they are like dogs. Most abuse horses from lack of care just like they treat dogs. A good horse is a product of its raising and reflects on its owner, just like a dog. But, as a son of a horse trader, we had several that were absolutely worthless because of the way they were treated. And it was hard to get them into shape after. Kinda like pound dogs. fishinwrench
I had an equestrian girlfriend for 8 months. Pretty as hell, crazy in bed, and better than any guy pal when doing manly stuff like building a deck, working on the truck, fixin' boats, ect. I didn't share her love of horses though, just couldn't do it. Sadly that was the straw. Lost her to some tobacco chewing Pettis county rodeo cowboy that drove a Ford. What a kick in the nuts that was. 😢 I sized him up and decided that I might not be able to whoop him...so sad little Wrench-puppy just turned around and walked away. 😔 💔 tho1mas

Gavin
You can’t separate a horse woman from her horses. Might be hot, but horse loving women are usually crazy. Fun for a time but not a good choice on the hot v crazy matrix. fishinwrench
