Does The MDC Make Mistakes?

Guy that bought me out he had place next to me. He would get mad because I would burn my place off.

He lives in Republic and me and him never seen eye to eye.

Fire is one of the many tools available, like any tool it can be well and do god things or used poorly and cause problems.  Some critters do better with occasional burning.  Timing is critical depending on what is being burned and for what purpose.

Around here the ones that burn do it every year in the Spring. It would be better if they did it every 3 years.

The MDC does some burning but mostly Tree thinning or Clear Cutting.

Was it because your “ burning” burned and killed his side?

Had a guy next to me kept a “ burn pile” next to a burr oak on my property line... His wife wasn’t happy when I bought my place as it blocked her view of the big pond on the other side...the burn piles killed a nice elm and hack berry...anything in line of sight of said pond died,

killed a nice cypress I babied in a pot till it was 7 foot, planted it ...and it and a 2 foot circle died...grass wouldn’t even grow there

I paid for another survey, came home and unless they were drunk the line was off...paid again this time I took off work and saw my line was 6 foot past all the neighbors put in some nice vinyl covered fence covers with steel and concrete under...last time they burned the burn pile a smoldering rabbit ran out....my wife had had it...I had to confront the couple...after a day of sighting in rifles..I kinda asked if they burned to not do it on the line as it damaged my trees, his wife said those were on the line...I handed her copy of their  and my property and the survey.....

No I kept my fire on me.

He tried taking 160 feet off the back side of me one time. I went through put fence up told him I give him some.

He came to the house said he had his place surveyed and my fence was off. Come to find out I had gave him 10 feet. 
 

Every place I’ve had neighbors tried getting more property. Had one actually dig up Survey Markers and move the fence.

Oh I could tell some dandy’s on these people.

Neighbors can be the best or worst thing about where you live.  Th3 old saying of good fences make for good neighbors is partly true, distance, measured in miles makes for even better ones.

Oh I put up a Hog, Goat tight Fence. He hated it.

Got a neighbor now that tried using my property without asking. I went to a Lawyer. He told me just put up a wire with No Trespassing Signs on it. Did this.

We was opening a business here, I thought the wire looked Trashy, so I took down along the Front Yard. Same day got Paperwork saying they was suing for a third of my property. Get this they said I wasn't using it so I might as well give it to them. 🤣

They put up a Privacy Fence on the Line. Now their mad because I won't let them on my side to maintain it. They lowered the Fence along their Back Deck so they could see my Trees. Now their mad because I'm cutting the Trees. Hey I'm nice I planted Osage Orange along the Fence.
