JCreek Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 At least, what, couple days with lower winds and great temps. I live vicariously through youse guys mostly being unable to catch fish at a trout hatchery personally.... I really wanted to wander down towards Masters, but was down in the back, had sinuses to destroy by the mulching of the leaves project, armadillos to shoot down like, well like armadillos. Just don't seem to have the gumption to hook up the boat lately. Perhaps next week! Where do I start - what do I throw this time of year? I'm after anything edible: Drum, crappie, bass, whites. I'll eat a walleye if I can't find a bluegill but prefer fish that don't bite back. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
Lifes2Short Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 It’s been pretty productive the last couple of days for me. Lots of green fish and I actually caught three keeper crappie today, I was amazed! Crappie are still out roaming in open water, at least the three keepers I caught were. Hanging in 16 to 20 feet of water on a main lake point is where I found them today. The bass mostly came on plastics dragging on the bottom. Tight Lines! Daryk Campbell Sr and FishnDave 2
JCreek Posted November 8, 2020 Author Posted November 8, 2020 Plastic on the bottom. Amazing. Would not have thought of it. Thanks. Lifes2Short 1
liphunter Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 Was wondering if there was a particular part of day you felt was better? Think I will give it a shot Monday. Thanks Luck is where preparation meets opportunity...... Or you could just flip a coin???
MrGiggles Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 Been catching crappie pretty good on Pomme. On brush 22-28ft. Haven't been to Stockton for a while, hoping to make it back this week before it gets nasty again. -Austin

Thanks Seems best for me mid-morning (9:00ish) and then again around 3:00. But then again I might not be around any fish between those times.🤣 liphunter and Daryk Campbell Sr 1 1
straw hat Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 The wife and I went bank fishing on Thu, Fri and Sat. Thu - Bluff fishing near cc, water temp 53, dingy and stained with 4 foot visibility. Crappie 14 to 18 ft deep, caught 9 but only 3 keepers. Also caught around 9 channel cats, biggest was a 8 1/2 lb monster. The cats were running 17 to 20 ft deep. Fri and Sat fished on the twin bridges area. Water temp was 55, visibility around 6 ft and stained. Crappie were 24 to 28 foot deep, caught a total of 12 crappie but only 4 keepers. Also caught one 14 1/2" walleye at 22 foot. Not great but it sure was beautiful out. The only bad thing was the wind was so bad I was worried it my blow us into the lake. lol wtr dogs, liphunter and Johnsfolly 3
