Of course.  I'm sure you understand how it all works..... If I know where the koochie is, and she knows where the washing machine and the stove/oven is.....then she automatically gets to know where the cash box is.   🙄 

You can't change those rules in the real world....unless you want to find out where the courtroom is.

We've done it several times when we celebrate the holiday on a weekend day not the actual holiday.  IT rocks!  No cooking, easy cleanup and you get spend time with your family instead of the first two...

We are now two for Thanksgiving. Menu has changed.

I have a good farmed duck. I will sous vide (36 hours) confit the legs and freeze them for later.

I will sear the breasts. Root veg in duck fat, dressing, queso, and an experiment -> sticky toffee tarts.

Well, all is good. She only spent half of what she took.  

I thanked her.   I'll enjoy the meal alot more knowing that it cost less than a new flyrod.

So in the end we decided on a brisket. I don’t want to announced how many people are coming over for fear of Seal Team 6 showing up. 
This brings up a problem I’ve always had issues with the pellet grill. So many times with smoking meats that the grill errors out halfway thru the cooking process and it’s a huge pain in the rear. It seems the pellets get moist and don’t pass the snap test. I’ve even gone so far as putting them in a Pyrex cup and microwaving them for a minute or 2 to remove the excess moisture. Now I just keep the pellets as dry as possible by storing them in a zip lock bag in the basement.

That's the bad reviews they get and has kept me from buying any smoker yet.  Still using the electric cylinder.
