Any day on the water is a gift no matter how tuff or how good the fishing was.

I could have cured you of that thought twice so far this Fall.

I don't know when I've been more cold, wet, and miserable.....Then, like an idiot, I hauled off and did it AGAIN two weeks later.

Tommorow I plan to go out on a NICE DAY for the first time in 3 months.

I like bad weather days fishing.  Especially trout.  They bite better when it’s cloudy.

Plus you're usually close to the truck!

Out on a lake it can suck pretty bad.  Day starts out kinda cool and foggy, then the fog clears and here comes the wind.  Temp starts dropping and it begins to rain. Rain turns to a downpour thunderstorm.  Then finally it stops....and here comes the wind again, with steadily dropping temperatures.  I only have one keeper in the box, and I'm on my last pair of dry gloves.... Check the clock and there's 3.5 hours to go.

Mama! 😭
