EV West has a Tesla modded to drop in anywhere a small-block Chevy would. Takes a heavier-than-stock driveline though.

Yeah, they're on the cusp.

Nothing GREEN about them though.....Have you seen what all has to happen before one of those batteries leaves the plant?

Good freakin' Lord!

Yeah they are actually way worse for the environment.

everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.

Saw a Tesla Model 3 in a parking lot a few days ago, I haven't paid much attention to them, but I thought it was a sharp looking car.

I got out of Tesla right before it really started ripping higher....win some you lose some.....except me I mostly lose.

I really ultimately wonder how much of Tesla's valuation is based on pure fad(the robinhood effect) vs. the actual results as a company.

I mean do you really think the valuation of the company exceeds that of EVERY other car manufacturer?

While the tech is amazing, from what I've read the fit and finish on those are pretty terrible for what they cost. And they are super stingy about replacement parts.

I can vouch for that.  Two guys at work have them.  Terrible fit.  Also the wait time for repairs is ridiculous.  One of them waited 5 weeks and drove a rental jeep Renegade for that time.
