oneshot Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 My Pickup would die on me when I let off the gas. We sprayed the flap deal at the back and wiped it out. Hood Struts were needing replaced so did that. Interesting order online parts are half as much than going to Auto Parts. oneshot

If it's anything else....your guess is as good as mine.
Daryk Campbell Sr Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 I thought the "flap deal at the back" was referring to a 4 barrel carburetor. But if its Vortec, that would rule out my thoughts. Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. (me) I am the master of my unspoken words, and the slave to those that should have remained unsaid. (unknown)
Dutch Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 I thought the flap deal at the back was the tail gate and was looking for a party.🤣 tho1mas 1

If it is a fuel injected engine then you can rule out "flooding". When running is the Check Engine light on? Are you looking for help/ideas.....or do you just want someone to listen to ya whine about it ? Everytime my truck acts up I can find 10-14 YouTube videos about it.

It's Dodge 1500 4.7L, Fuel Injection. It was dyeing at really bad times. Everything online says this is the problem. I just hope it is. No Check Engine Light. Bad things are I can't hear and if it dyes not good with one Arm. It was one of those things that took two Hands so my wife took care of it. oneshot

You may have more warranty than you will need.

MOPanfisher Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 Have you disconnected the battery cables lately. Sometimes that makes it do strange things until it relearns.
