Dutch Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 I have ordered a few items from them but never actually been there. Do any of you buy from them or have ever been to the store?
nomolites Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 I think JungleJim buys from them, he had me checking them out. They seem to have inventory right now when nobody else does... Mike
Dutch Posted February 17, 2021 Author Posted February 17, 2021 I was put onto them by a guy in IL who sells me powder paint. One of my bait making kids has been there. His dad said that he just walked around with his mouth open. I’m thinking that I might drive over there next week since I won’t have a boat. dtrs5kprs 1
Flyfisher for men Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 I've not bought from them, but they've been around at least 15 years. 1 hour ago, Dutch said: I was put onto them by a guy in IL who sells me powder paint. FWIW, they have a Cabelas in Wichita, too, if that interests you.
Flysmallie Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 I'll be in Wichita next week. I think I'll go check it out.
SplitG2 Posted February 19, 2021 Posted February 19, 2021 I was in Wichita often for work a few years ago and stopped in one night. It’s small but packed full of a lot of stuff. Lots of build components. Would be curious how much of their inventory is actually out on the shelves vs stored elsewhere for shipment out from on-line purchases. Not trying to persuade you from going in person because I’m glad I did but don’t be surprised how small it is. Might be worth calling them to talk shop about what you hope to find in person before you go. They also had a lot of catfish related items and bait which the guy said was a specialty of theirs.

I appreciate the input. I am wanting some Do It Essentials molds that I want to see in person before I buy them, plus I am ready for a road trip.
Travis Swift Posted February 19, 2021 Posted February 19, 2021 I live 20 mins from there, it's small but an awesome little store. The entire top wall around the entire store has about every Do It Mold ever made. Don't expect a megasized store, it's tiny but they jam alot on there. They are loaded up pretty good with lure making supplies. Best of all, they are just really good people in there. Do yourself a favor and time it where you can get some DooDah Diner breakfast or lunch which isn't very far away. BilletHead 1
Dutch Posted February 19, 2021 Author Posted February 19, 2021 I’ve seen pics of the place. I’m intrigued by it besides my next week is empty.
