Flyfisher for men Posted February 28, 2021 Posted February 28, 2021 I was just wondering what it will be like tomorrow. I wonder if it will be the usual crowds and shoulder to shoulder fishing.
Devan S. Posted February 28, 2021 Posted February 28, 2021 Just took a stroll through a very busy roaring river. I assume all the trout parks will be normal if not busier than normal. tjm 1

Sorry to hear that. Buried 2 aquantances of my own, and one friend of my daughters due to traffic malarky.   Maybe the rising fuel costs will reduce fatal accidents by keeping some away from the wrong place/wrong time.  I take it that you'll not be at the Trout Park on opening day. Me either. đ cmoore03 1
FishnDave Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 I think maybe more people will be fishing, as we all noticed last year, because they don't have anything better to do....due to Covid. đ§

Maybe most folks all limited out and are putting their trout in the cars to get ready to go back out with another stringer .

I don't know that I'd do an opener "shoulder to shoulder," but fishing the park under normal conditions wouldn't bother me at all. I did get dissuaded  from going to the park last summer. I didn't like the idea of everyone converging on showerhouses, bathrooms, the park store, etc. along with the stops you make to get gas and so on. I saw a needless risk of being in a confined space with the virus.    Â

Flyfisher for men Posted March 1, 2021 Author Posted March 1, 2021 I just got done looking at the back footage on the trout cam, and it revealed a fuller picture. There were definitely the usual crowds at the beginning compared to photos from previous years. It definitely thinned out within a few hours. More like a typical summer weekend then.Â
