             I am sure you are on every list you can get on up there. I did the same and got the call as a standby at a Wal mart. Got my second one Tuesday morning at 7AM. As I went in the door there was a sign as JD mentioned that shots were available.  I too was in the last group but kept checking. The day I got my first one I had two other calls that afternoon. One would of took me and the other still required the earlier phases.  Stay after it and it will happen. I am glad to get it done and be part of the solution to slowing this thing down, Yes it will probably be with us forever buy like the seasonal flu we can loose less lives,

              Good deal hang in there!

  Our Son (40) got his Tuesday also. There was a call out in Springfield that there was doses close to expiring at a clinic. Just show up. He did on his lunch break and got shot. The daughter in law is in health care and got hers awhile ago. Other than the grandchildren the BilletHead Clan is getting it done.

    Kansas has been behind on the deal but now they are doing all phases now the news reported.

Yes they have been slow.

I work in MO (or should I say my work address is in MO, but I've only been there 3 times since 2/2020) and I was able to get round 1 yesterday in Lee's Summit, MO. Including the required 15 minute wait time after the shot, I was in and out in less than 10 minutes.

JD and yourself must be good luck.  I just get an appointment for my first one next Thursday.  I'm on the fence about the whole deal.  But the longer this goes the more people I know personally are having trouble from it.  Latest is a guy at work who is younger than me.  My wife's brother spent a week in ICU and was close to getting on the vent when they gave him the antibody serum.  He's still suffering from it a few weeks later.

Bigger cities are having a bit more trouble. I have a sister and brother in law with underlying conditions. I got my vaccine in smaller town America before both of them. They both had to go out of town to get theirs. I think it sucks everyone cannot get on same page. Logistics wise I do know urban areas are a nightmare. Love the boondocks. Isn't for everyone but is me.

I got mine for no other reason than I was standing in the right hallway, at the right time. Someone came up to me and asked if I wanted it. They were going to have to throw it away if no one took it. So I did. Kind of bothered me, because I knew people that need it more than I did. But it was me or the trash.

It would be for me but my wife grew up on a farm and nearest town only had 200 people.  She couldn't wait to get out.  Tablerock is as rural as she'll agree to so that's good for me in a couple years.
