Lots of struggles out there for different companies to get cans so they can put their products in to sell. That touches a lot of different industries.

jdmidwest Posted March 6, 2021 Posted March 6, 2021 Just came back from the gunshow in Cape. 30-30 was going for $50 a box. Tables full of it with Old Farts that have nothing better to do than stalk the Wally Worlds every morning and see what rolls in. Then resell it for a raping profit. Pretty sad show. Consoled one dealer on the loss of his father I have known for years. Several regular knife dealers were no-shows. Nothing to be had and everything way over priced. Sold out show, but lots of empty tables for a Friday nite. Its a big show that used to draw from other areas. I have met some interesting people at them. One was a airgun specialist from up around KC. Many different knife guys. A few that collect and resell specific guns. Most were older gents, may have lost them to the Covid or they have just holed up waiting it out. jdmidwest Posted July 13, 2021 Posted July 13, 2021 Ammo is starting to show back up on shelves. Academy has been keeping a pretty steady supply of the essentials of the defense calibers. Local gunshops are starting to get in some too. Remington is back online after the bankruptcy and shipped a bunch in the last few weeks. Green boxes of sporting calibers are coming out on the shelves. Prices adjusted for the metals inflation and Covid, but far less than scalper prices. awhuber, Daryk Campbell Sr and BilletHead 3 "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Terrierman Posted July 15, 2021 Posted July 15, 2021 I ordered 150 rounds of .38 special and 100 rounds of .357 magnum yesterday. First time I've seen a decent selection in stock for quite a while. It was high, but nothing like what I've seen. Worst I personally saw was $50 for a box of 20 9mm FMJ Blazer. Now that's a ripoff.
