Yeah I have to agree with that,  they were taking a lot of bad shots when there wasn't any reason to do so, shot selection was terrible especially in the first half.

I watched the Baylor game against Nova too, Baylor looks scary good.  They have got some athletes on that team that have great basketball skills.

Also watched that Loyola and OSU game.  Thought it was funny that OSU found a 100 year old fan to counter Sister Jean.

Folks can say what they want but Mussleman can coach, is a workaholic and he can recruit.  Arkansas is gonna be a factor for however many years he stays there.  And dang entertaining to boot as they're fun to watch.

Of course the only difference between a good shot and a bad shot is whether or not it goes in.  If the Hogs shoot it decent they can give Baylor a game.  They need to drive it relentlessly cause they can get them in foul trouble and put Vital on the bench.  

The mullet headed white kid for Baylor might be the key.

As for Missouri fans I don't think you guys are gonna be looking forward to playing Arkansas all that much for the next few years.

That is true, making to the Elite Eight makes this a successful season for the Hogs no matter what happens against Baylor.

Yurachek has already committed to giving coach Muss a significant increase on his contract as he should.  I was reading where Muss in 13th on the list as far as salary amongst SEC men's hoops coaches.

With Pitman only making 3 million a year Arkansas is going to have to make a decision, are they a basketball school or a football school. You don't pay your BB coach more than your football coach in the SEC, you just don't. 

That really cost Missouri when GP was our football coach, just not going to go get a BB coach and pay him more. 

Arkansas is going to have to revisit SP's contract and bring him up to at least 4.5 to get Mussleman to that 3.5 or 4 range. 

Bottom line is he is going to get offered more elsewhere if he wants to go. 

Beard is making 5 mil at TT and word on the street is Texas might be willing to bump that up to the same as their new football coach, so there is money out there if Eric wants it. 

And yes, Arkansas will be a huge problem for Mizzou, always have been.

Hogs game starts at 8:57 PM CT tomorrow.  I'll be recording it, watch it Tuesday AM, won't be able to look at any social media or TV Tuesday AM until I watch the game so that I don't see the score before I have a chance to watch it.  

Baylor favored by 7.

Maybe MU and Ark develops into a good rivalry. Thats what i miss most about leaving the Big 12. Ark has been very lucky. 3 straight games where the opponent has missed the last shot. But hey, they are in the Elite 8. Mussleman is a little over the top for me. They beat MU, without Tillmon, and he acted liked they just won the tournament. Took his shirt off and running around like a chicken with his head cut off. I hope they give Baylor a game. Everybody talked about how strong the Big10 and Big 12 were. SEC has two teams left!

kU is in a serious pickle, that is going to be hard to get out of. Their only revenue sport has 5 level 1 and half dozen level 2 violations hanging on it. Tupee billie is going to get a show-cause and a lack of institutional control. 

The football program if you can call it that is a total embarrassment

Got a feeling things are going to change in the sunflower state sooner rather than later. 

The face of Big 12 Basketball is changing, as nothing lasts forever. 

Doesn't matter to me one way or the other we have our hands full in the SEC as Vernon pointed out.

Baylor did not shoot the ball very well and beat Nova handily in the 2nd half. It will take another poor night from 3 and Arkansas will have to get a few bounces go their way and they might cover 7. It will be higher than 7 by the time they tip I would guess.
