Just kidding but a great rig...

I thought you wanted one running shallow.😂

Two boats being exactly the same size, the one with the tunnel will not run as shallow as the one with no tunnel. Now if you add more square inches to the bottom of the hull to make up for the fact that it has a tunnel, then It will run shallow.

Lol, flat wrong.

Jamie have you ever had that cool neat beast of a boat stuck on a shoal yet? If so does the slick plastic make it easy to slide off?

if hydrodynamics wasn’t in play, yes. However, the shape of the hull factors in...

in practice, the tunnel can generate more lift by its increased surface area. It’s the whole equal and opposite force thing worked out centuries ago...

In my statement the shape of the hull is the exact same in both examples except for the tunnel. And again the the right and left sides of the tunnel are questionable for creating any lift.

Not yet, but it’s gonna happen at some point I’m sure. It pushes way easier than aluminum, but the boat is super heavy 😩

If it was truly perpendicular it would be equal. In practical reality, angles and shapes are in play. Curves really set apart lift.
