The bigger one sure fought well.  They never seem to tire or give up.  Eventually, they just get bored.

Right? The mouth is shaped VERY similar to a tarpon.  I haven't caught an actual tarpon yet.  Maybe someday...

Tarpon us just a giant herring. Need to get you on a shad trip as a continued gateway towards tarpon 😉.

Shad are pretty cool and all... but can't I just jump directly to tarpon?  😜

I worked my way up from Gizzard Shad to Goldeye to Skipjack Herring already...

And since I've already caught Creek Chubs,  I really feel like I can handle just about any fish!  Creek chubs are pure adrenaline.... 🥱
